Outside we have been looking at changes to the living things in the school grounds. We noticed buds opening, frogspawn in the pond and birds in the trees. Indoors we have looked carefully at catkins and drawn them.
Learning in Nursery this Week
This week we have learned the rhyme Hickory Dickory Dock. We had fun investigating real clocks, looking at them carefully and listening to the sounds they make. We have built clocks with bricks, set up a clock shop, made watches and clocks as well as a little mouse! It was great to be able to get outside this week especially on a lovely, sunny day. On Friday we used the apparatus in the hall to practise our climbing skills so we could go up like the mouse in the rhyme and come back down safely as well!
World Book Day Fun!
Today was world book day. We had fun dressing up as different story characters and going on a fancy dress parade in the hall with our Reception friends. We also had lots of lovely stories read by our teachers and some wonderful people from Year Six. Here are some photos of our special day.
